Why a Wiki?

The wiki (aka ThePsalter) is intended as a convenient tool for all to use to find out information about the Glen Waverley Uniting Church, and to share thoughts and ideas with others in the congregation. Indeed, the original purpose of the wiki was more in line with the second of these concepts, but most usage to date has been based around creating an information repository.

What Use is the Wiki to me?

What are the things that an ordinary church member can do on the wiki?

Find contact details

• Click on a coloured name, such as DavidMorgan, on any wiki page to see email and phone details. Log in needed.

• Or type part or all of the wiki name (capitals and no space as in DavidMorgan) of the person in the search box.

• Or look for a person in PhotoDirectory and click to get contact information.

Rosters

• See ChurchRosters to check a roster or volunteer for specific dates. No login needed.

• Make yourself not available for allocation at RosterUnavailable.

Check building occupancy

• ChurchDiary: diary of all church related events

• ChurchBookings: diary of bookings for external groups.
