One of the advantages of this change is that weekly reminders of roster commitments will be sent (automatically!) to all people who have registered an email address on the church wiki. This will allow the church office to devote more time to matters such as pastoral concerns, and to assisting the ministers in their worship preparation and pastoral care. Church Council believes that the church must focus more upon these areas in order to create a more inclusive community.

ChurchCouncil and CommunicationCommittee both believe that improving church communications in this way will be of benefit to all. For those who do not have computer access, the office will supply printed copies of relevant documents on request, and key documents (such as rosters) will be posted in prominent places on church notice boards. Members of the congregation are also reminded that there is an office computer available (through the window) for casual users to browse the web and wiki pages. Help on how to use this facility is available, just ask at the office.

== Worship ==
The new format for worship rosters will partition the various aspects into separate, individual rosters. Hence there will be one roster page for Bible Readings, one for organ/band/choir, one for preaching, one for lectionary, etc.. This is done so that only one roster needs to be changed as things evolve. It is intended that composite rosters will be eventually formed from composite auto-generation, that is, new comprehensive rosters will be made automatically from the individual ones.
