Leaflet Delivery
Instructions and resources for organising the delivery of leaflets or flyers to letterboxes, used for fete, book fair, Christmas & Easter cards etc. Constructed in Feb 2014 by DavidMorgan and IanMcMillan.
PeterAnderson took this over from IanMcMillan as from April 2014
Coordinator's role
- When a delivery is requested, determine the number to be delivered and the area to be covered.
- Advertise in the Bulletin for walkers.
- Collect the leaflets and bundle them with the paper maps and instructions.
- Assign areas to walkers, and distribute the bundles.
Delivery Instructions
- Please comply with any "No Junk Mail" signs or other variations. We do not think that our leaflets are Junk, but the home owner probably does.
- If you are short, please advise the coordinator afterwards.
- If you take a paper map, rather than use the electronic ones listed below, please return it to the letter rack in the church foyer.
- Note that where a "Walking Circuit" is given, this illustrates how two walkers can cover the area with minimal retracing and redundant paths. The route is shown for two walkers, operating in synchronism, one shown as a red trace, the other as a blue trace. Solid lines indicate delivery paths, broken lines indicate no deliveries or path retracing. You can start and end the path at any point on it, since it is a closed circuit.
Any variations or updates to these instructions should be passed to one or more of PeterAnderson, DavidMorgan or JohnHurst.
