It was difficult to find a venue close by that would provide lunch for a reasonable price. Catering for lunch at the church was also costly and it was difficult to find enough volunteers to prepare, serve, set up and clean up. The group of 35-50 people who had attended Munch with a Bunch previously had diminished (moved into care, passed away or not able to attend because of medical issues) so we decided to discontinue this activity.<<BR>>Special morning teas have been held for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, special occasions for Ministry Team or church members, the Uniting Church Anniversary and other significant events. <<BR>>There is good communication and co-operation within the committee. <<BR>> || || Any needs that Church Council can assist:|| Provide ideas and assist with pastoral care and welcoming. <<BR>> || |

We participated in three church services in 2024. Our members are more confident in participating in church services, and have been willing to join the concert program at Boronia UC and the multicultural event at GWUC. They feel well supported and blessed by the GWUC community and are grateful for the space, the opportunities it offers and the emotional support the choir members are able to give each other. |
