The slide show on the office bench computer

This is implemented as the screen saver, set to cut in after minimum time (3 mins)

  • As of Dec 2010, here are the instructions for updating the slideshow.
    • Modifications are made in the Keynote presentation. There is an alias to this on the desktop. It is in GWUC:GWUC:SlideShow:Current Slide Show.key.

    • When completed, Save the file. There is no need to keep old versions, as they are kept in iPhoto (see below)
    • Then File:Export as images to iPhoto. (Note this option is absent from more recent versions of Keynote, but present on this computer.) Supply a name for the folder in iPhoto; month and year is good.

    • iPhoto will open and import the photos.
    • When it has finished, Quit iPhoto and Kenynote.
    • Check by moving the cursor to the upper right hand corner of the screen, and wait for the changed slides to appear.
