LEISURE TIME AGM 2011

Minutes of Annual General Meeting held at the Church on Monday 4th April 2011

Margaret Fraser welcomed everyone and thanked them for attending

There were 19 present, with 10 apologies

Devotions Alison Clarkson led us in devotions and prayer, At the end of her Devotions Alison promoted the Seniors Service

Minutes of the 2010 Annual General Meeting were circulated. Margaret Fraser moved they be accepted 2nd Thelma Nichols. Carried.

Annual Report for 2010 was circulated and Margaret Fraser commented on various items in the report, in particular the full guest list and the loyal commitment of our volunteers. She also thanked Lesley Lamble and Florence Martin, who have resigned from the committee, but who are continuing in other roles. Margaret moved that the Report be received 2nd Barbara Craig Carried.

Audited Financial Statement for 2010 was presented and circulated by Cliff Baker, Cliff moved the Statement be accepted 2nd Ross Vevers Carried. Margaret thanked Cliff for his work as Treasurer.

Appointment of Auditor David Mair was reappointed and letter of thanks to be sent. Moved by Cliff 2nd Ann Wardell Carried

Election of Committee of Management Margaret Fraser, Barbara Craig, Nancy Burns, Pat & Ross Vevers are continuing their terms on the committee.

Margaret Fraser nominated Laurel Muir and Jeanette Coutts Pam McDonald nominated Bev Richardson All three accepted their nominations. Retiring members re-nominated were Cliff Baker, Pam McDonald and Elwyn Pederson All 6 nominated persons were elected.

Alison Clarkson will ask Church Council to ratify Bev Richardson as a second Church Council representative on the Leisure Time committee.

Alison Clarkson thanked Margaret Fraser for all her hard work.

Bev Cameron shared the news about Jean Tulloch’s illness.

Margaret Fraser closed the meeting with a prayer and together we said the grace
