Worship Services at Glen Waverley Uniting Church

Following communications from our Presbytery, Synod, members of the GWUC Leadership team and Church Council, the following changes are being made to our worship patterns to try and ensure we are able to continue to provide our congregation members a level of valued worship. We will continue to stream worship live, and place copies of the worship on our web site. Please encourage members of our community to join together on line, live each week or to download our services at any time.

Sunday 22nd March:

We will stream live, and record, both the 9:15am and 11:00am services (without a congregation in the pews) as usual. However the service content may differ to reduce face to face contact of those people involved, so for example there will be no choirs.

You can join us for this live worship at either of those times by going to www.gwuc.org.au/live 5 minutes before service start time. They can be viewed on any Computer, Tablet, Smartphone or Smart TV.

You can also go to our YouTube link at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiWX-WVai6wcQ9pLxon1Geg/live where you will also be able to view past services, or if you wish to, you can continue to use our delayed services by going to www.gwuc.org.au and download worship services.

You are also able to search YouTube for us.

From Sunday 29th March until further notice:

We are having ONLY ONE service of worship (without a congregation in the pews) , which we will stream live and record at 10:00am worship service. This applies until further notice and will include Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

This 10:00am weekly worship will continue until otherwise advised.

This is to protect our congregational members involved with worship presentation while still providing a service of worship for members of Glen Waverley Uniting Church and others on-line and around the Presbytery.

We know you will understand our reasons for this change, and the ministry team have undertaken, as best as possible, to make the 10:00am worship inclusive and of value. But there will be changes to this worship such as no choirs, no children at the children’s time in the worship, and other changes to accommodate the continuance of regular Communion. Your patience and understanding of these changes is appreciated.

In due course, we will return to business as usual as follows.

We offer a number of different styles of worship at GWUC, to cater for as wide a range of tastes as possible:
