Playgroup Treasurer

Role:

To facilitate all financial aspects of the GWUC playgroup including day-to-day management, record keeping and oversight of a long-term financial vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep general oversight of the Playgroup budget, including receipts and expenditure
  • Prepare the annual budget as required by the Church Council
  • Advise the Leadership Team regarding any proposed major expenditure
  • Liaise with the GWUC Treasurer as required
  • Oversee the collection and recording of members’ term fee payments
  • Attend Playgroup Leadership Team meetings

Requirements:

  • Excellent financial management and organisational skills
  • Diligent and meticulous record keeping skills
  • A commitment and passion for Children and Families ministry
  • A current Working with Children Check.

Commitment:

  • One meeting every quarter
  • Finance collection as required
