4.7.16 Leisure Time Care Secretary and Pastoral Care Rep.

The Care Secretary’s duties are:

• monitor attendance of guests
• follow up absentees and keep in contact with those who may have prolonged illness
• send cards to sick guests and volunteers
• ensure a supply of birthday cards in the Leisure Time cupboard
• keep Day Leaders and Coordinator informed about absentee guests via the White Folder or phone calls
• support the Coordinator in maintaining positive relationships between GWUC, Leisure Time guests and their families

• attend Care & Communication meetings if/as requested by Coordinator and raise any matters of concern or information for discussion at those meetings

• provide a verbal list of correspondence out at Committee meetings and provide any other guest information relevant to whole Committee.
• Pastoral Care Representative: Act as Leisure Time’s contact person for the GWUC Pastoral Care committee, in case of assistance needed for Leisure Time volunteers.
