4.7.27 Leisure Time Care & Communication team (Day Leaders & Coordinator)
The duties of the Care & Communication team are:
attend scheduled meetings of the Care & Communication team
- provide support to each other and share ideas, joys and concerns
- receive feedback from volunteers and guests and refer matters to the Committee as needed
oversee the quality of guest care at LeisureTime at all times
- monitor guests’ care needs and suitability for Leisure Time – mobility, vision, dietary needs, medication, seating/armchair, personal hygiene, cognitive abilities
- evaluate Leisure Time procedures and make recommendations to Committee
ensure that relevant information about guests is communicated accurately and promptly to others with responsibility by using the agreed communication channels, in particular, by recording notes in the White Folder
- regularly check the contents of the Leisure Time cupboards and clean up as required
- make suggestions about purchase of new activity resources
- provide ideas for the Leisure Time newsletter
