• This is the successor to the CommunityOutreach group established in the OnTheWayTogether process.

1. Upcoming events

1.1. November Material Aid Offering

• Let’s ensure women who are waking up in a domestic violence refuge or homeless shelter on Christmas feel a little bit of hope and love. Fill a new bag or a pre-loved one (in excellent condition) with life’s essentials to help someone in need. All items must be new and sealed for hygiene reasons.
  Bag essentials: shampoo & conditioner, toothbrush & toothpaste, body wash or soap, roll-on deodorant, sealed packet pads/tampons. You may like to include a few optional luxury items such as makeup, stationary, jewellery, book, socks, tissues and a handwritten note. No food, aerosols or scissors.
  If you haven’t a suitable bag, you can still donate the essential items alone.
  Please place your donations in the Material Aid Bin, last day 26th November.

• Sign a petition here to encourage Penny Wong to submit a strong case for climate action to the world’s highest court, so we can hold big polluters to account for the climate emergency and protect the human rights of our Pacific neighbours.

• The Uniting Climate Action Network news is available including a link to a Zoom Forum on Electrification Tuesday 21 November 7-8.30pm.
