NOTES from Inclusive Community meeting held on Tuesday 19March, 2019 at 10.30AM

Members shared concerns about some members of our congregation.

Jan prayed for these people.

NIL.

Eileen joined us for this discussion.

There will probably be about 200-300 people. Jan will speak to Glyn and John Snare about setting up tables in the hall.
Eileen will organise people to make sandwiches (10-12 loaves), 8 slices, gluten free food Faye, fruit platters (Laurel, Jan and Barb).
Faye will contact Gail Irvine and ask if Heather’s friends can serve tea and coffee.
Eileen will get milk, serviettes and chips for the children.
Service will probably go from 2.30-4.30.

The farewell will be at 10.15-11am in the church. Neil, Glyn and Heather will speak. Di. and Alanee will present gifts.
A large card will be circulated during morning tea.
Food- slab cakes, tea .
Jan will notify morning tea people that they will be needed to serve tea and coffee but not to put out biscuits.

All organised. Alison has done most of thework to prepare this.

There are about 30 people who have indicated that they will attend.

Maureen and Graham McE. ( former members of GWUC, residents at Weary Dunlop) wanting to transfer from Rowville to GWUC-transfer request will be coming.
Laura and her mother-newcomers who have attended the last couple of weeks.
Cliff B, needs transport to church.
Jan asked for names of people who could be asked to speak at the Way of the Cross on Good Friday (11am Central Reserve).
We will discuss welcoming at our next meeting, maybe the possibility of having a workshop.
