GWUC Headlines for w/e 1 Jun 2013

The Outreach Committee met recently.
A revised version of the new Church Structures document from the Church Future Directions Steering Committee is being distributed this weekend, along with the proposed allocation of church service and task groups.
The Church Council minutes from the most recent meeting (21 May 2013) are available.

The Presbytery Newsletter is now available.
Church Council met on Tuesday evening. Of interest are the 4 mission group reports: InclusiveReport201305, FaithReport201305, HubReport201305, and OutreachMinutes201305. There is also a ChildrenAndFamiliesReport201305.
The Church Future Steering Committee asks that everyone peruse the ChurchFutureScServiceGroups document to see what additions or alterations are required for the proposed new church structures

This weekend the Church Future Steering Committee releases the much awaited New Church Structures document.
At the JNC election last Sunday, the motion re delegation to council executive was passed with a 2/3rds majority.
There is now a new page describing the JNC Process. This contains the names of candidates elected at last week's services.
The Outreach Missional Group met recently.
Leisure Time held its AGM recently.

The list of candidates nominated for the JNC are now posted. The election is to be held at all church services on 12 May 2013.
