Fete Leaflet Delivery - If you have volunteered to deliver leaflets for the Fete, please collect your leaflets from the table in the church foyer.
Planned Giving Envelopes - The new sets of planned giving envelopes are available from the table in the foyer. Please collect yours as this saves us postage costs.
Outreach Forum - 27 September - The next Outreach Forum is this Sunday 27 September. The speaker is from Whitelion Open Family who provide a range of outreach services to young people experiencing high complex needs. All are welcome. Please add your name to the list on the office window.
Team Leave - Heather is on leave from 21 September to 9 October. During this time the office will be open reduced hours. Please check the bulletin to see when someone will be in the office to assist you.

This Sunday - 20 September - Church Council Commissioning - During our services this week we will be Commissioning the newly elected Church Councillors / Elders. Each person will be commissioned at the service of worship they normally attend.
Next Sunday - 20 September - Two-way Broadcast with Beeac - During the 9.15am Service next week we will be sharing in a two-way broadcast with Beeac. Rev Neil Peters will be in Beeac with the technical team and Alanee Hearnshaw will be at Glen Waverley.

This Sunday - 13 September - Material Aid Offering - The Material AId Offering for this month is for the work of the RSPCA. The RSPCA are particularly looking for towels, blankets, flat sheets, pillow cases, face washers, old newspapers, pet accessories, food and water bowls, animal cages and carriers, bedding and pet or baby playpens.
This Sunday - 13 September - Rev Paul Bartlett - Uniting World - Rev Paul Bartlett from Uniting World will speak at the 8am, 9.15am and 11am Services today about the work of Uniting World.
This Sunday - 13 September @ 2pm - ‘Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea’ - Join us at 2pm for a screening of this 52 minute documentary which looks at the circumstances and decisions that lead someone to become a ‘boat person’. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation.

Sunday 6 September at 2.30pm - Musical Showcase Fundraiser - All are welcome to attend Glen Waverley Uniting Church Sunday at 2.30pm where you will be treated to an afternoon of pleasant music. Jacob Davey and others are holding this event to support not for profit organisations working in Kenya and Uganda. Entry is by donation (suggested $15 Adults and $10 Concession). A light afternoon tea will follow.
Sunday 13 September - Material Aid Offering - The Material Aid Offering for this month is for the work of the RSPCA. Please see the Monthly Bulletin for details of requested items.
Appointment of Children & Families Co-ordinator - At the Congregational meeting it was announced that Nancye Cottrell has been appointed to the position of Children and Families Co-ordinator commencing 28 September, 2015.
Church Council / Elder Elections - All seven candidates have been successful in our recent Church Council / Elder elections. Congratulations to Aaron Blakemore, Helen Stewart, David Morgan, Amy Spark, Angel Shea, Mark Easton and Judy Lowe. Thanks to all candidates for their willingness to serve our congregation.

Canned soups, meals, breakfast cereals, long life milk, tea, coffee and biscuits are all appreciated, as well as tooth paste and brushes, soap and washing powder.
