GWUC Finance Report for March 2024 and YTD.
This short report is presented to Church Council and Finance Committee as a summary of our Activities as reflected in the Profit and loss for March 2024 and through YTD figures.
We have provided commentary elsewhere explaining our inability to produce our Standard Monthly Management Reports because of system and software updates by Synod Payroll, which remain to be rectified. We hope to re-work and produce the Management Reports for January-April 2024 by the end of this month.
We can manage and produce reports for the Month. March has continued the strong start to 2024. We have produced a further surplus of $5,737 for March based upon Revenue of $35,003.59 and Expenditure of $29,266.
A good result and it also reflects the inclusion of approximately $4,655 from the Inclusion of Leisure-time’s accumulated funds after Leisure-time was included in the GWUC P & L Accounts for 2024. We comment favourably upon Direct Giving being $11,527 and see an increase in Envelopes contributing $7,205 which is significantly above the 2 prior months.

Summary.
A sound result all round. Revenue has held up well and Expenses are well managed. We have attached several Reports covering the :
We are not expecting to continue to manage Surpluses for the coming months, and expect that we will see a couple of months with small Deficits.
Our Finance committee remains comfortable with the progress and we will see another period of strong Rental income as we are in receipt of the proceeds from the second Term Rentals.
GWUC remains well positioned financially.
