Minutes of Finance Committee Meeting: 13th December 2017, commenced at 7.00pm.

Agenda:
Ashley: Presented Jan 2017-Nov 2017 P&L Actual v Budget.
We are within 2% of income.
We have a YTD surplus of $8,000.00, against a budgeted deficit of nearly $14,000.00.
Warren:
Marriott bequest: Discussion regarding where this sizable donation should be allocated to. Agreed that it should be moved into the endowment fund. Given the amount, ratification is sought from Church Council.
Neil:
Kombi: Neil advises that Alanee will be advertising the Kombi for sale before 31 December 2017.
General:
An advertisement has been put into Crosslight for a ‘Music Director and Accompanist’, due to several GWUC members unable to continue with the music group in 2018. Finance are unaware if there will be any financial implications. The Church Council will need to liaise with People and Culture Group to ensure all parties are informed as to progress of application & any execution needed.
