Minutes of Finance Committee Meeting: 13th December 2016

Present: Warren Greenwood, Ashley Irvine, Neil Peters

Confirmed Minutes of meeting of 7th November 2016.

1. Prior matters:

• Ashley still to contact Ken Hutchinson re: analysis of planned giving for 2016.
  

• Combi – still working towards a sale by 28 Feb 2017.

2. Agenda:

• Ashley - 2016 YTD @ 30/11/2016, surplus of $57,000, mostly due to increased rent of $20,000 and lower ministerial wages of $30,000.
  

• Warren – MYOB training for Wendy, scheduled for 13 Jan 2017.
  

• Matt – forwarded his agenda items, but not acted upon due to his absence. Will review again next meeting (Feb 2017).
  

• 2017 Budget to be shown to & approved by the congregation at meeting to be held 13th December 2016. Proposed deficit of $16,640, primarily due to additional ministerial staff to be employed in the first quarter of 2017.

3. General:

Nil.
