1. Opening Prayer

4. Worship Matters

5th Sunday services next year. 29 Jan, 29 Apr, 27 May (Pentecost), 24 Jun (Anniversary), 29 Jul, 30 Sep, 11 Nov (Remembrance Day), 30 Dec.

Question about having the All Age Carols on another night of the week.

Missional groups to plan the services again in 2012.

Could we have a combined service in the afternoon??? Could do an afternoon or evening service for the anniversary??

Letter from Synod is referred to Church Council.

Paul Bartlett from Frontier Services wants to come- perhaps 12 Aug 2012 at 2 morning services.

5. Themes for future studies

Need a variety of different studies that could be done. Some good Lenten studies from MediaCom that we could use. Are there other studies that we could run during the winter months?? Studies can be run at any time. Studies that are already running are going well.

Need to advertise study groups better… do people know what is going on? Do we need to get feedback from each of the groups? We do need to touch base with each group once a year to see how they are going. Perhaps have a brochure that talks about some of the small groups that we offer. Need to encourage people to participate in groups where possible and to encourage new groups to start up!!!

6. Monthly Bulletin and Annual Report

It was assumed that Colin has this in hand.

7. Other Business

Convenor: Need someone to do an agenda and make sure the meetings happen, the other jobs can be shared around. Have a contact person rather than a convenor. Share the chairperson job around. Belinda volunteered to be the contact person.

8. Next Meeting

Tuesday 7 Feb 2012 at the Clear’s at 7.30pm. John will be an apology, Dean agreed to chair the meeting.
