Dear Friends,
You have attended a few Monash Interfaith Gathering events over the past year - so we extend an invitation for you to support our work of creating understanding, tolerance and respect between people of faith, by taking out membership for the 2021-22 year. Membership is a mere $10 and we’d really appreciate your involvement and financial support.

There is a Membership application form for July 21 - June 22 below. I’ve also attached a Code of Conduct which sets out the rules of positive engagement within the group. If you have signed the Code of Conduct in the past - there is no need to resend it.

Please read, sign & scan the document(s) and email it to [email protected] - or post to Monash Interfaith Gathering Inc, PO Box 2408 Mount Waverley 3149 (with a cheque if you are not able to make a direct deposit.)

Direct Deposit details are in the Membership Application form. When funds are transferred - please write your surname beside the deposit.

We look forward to your active participation.

Warmly

Heather Safstrom

Hi David, Lucky and Neil, I have attended Monash Interfaith Gatherings fairly regularly for the past three or four years. I am already a financial member.

I am not sure about Lucky. John Hurst has attended sometimes.

I think that we should tell Church Council that we already have members who attend when they can. The group meets once every two months. I would be happy to provide a short report for Church Council, when there has been a meeting.

I hope this is helpful. Regards Jan Clear.

I am also an active member in this MIG group represent Indonesian Club Melbourne. They invited me because ICM every year organized an Interfaith Dialog in Monash City Council area.
I think its good for GWUCA to be a full member in this MIG movement.

More from Jan

I agree with Lucky; good idea to take out church membership. I am also a member of Glen Waverley Interchurch Council but I am not the representative for that council on MIG. Regards Jan.
