Discussion of how we want to proceed with congregational outreach projects this year.

While selection of outreach projects is a matter for the congregation, in the recent past the Community Outreach Mission Group has led us. FairlieMackinnon has advised that the Outreach Mission Group no longer operates and the she is no longer able to lead it. While it is possible that a new Outreach group may be formed, this meeting needs to decide how to proceed with planning to allocate the proceeds of this year's fete.

One option is to allocate funds according to the 2021 COP Panel's recommendations because, due to Covid-19 these projects received no funding. The 2021 proposal was that funds should be distributed to the following groups: The GWUC Welfare Committee, Friends of Baguia (Timor Leste), Friends of Ermera (Timor Leste), Diocesan Project Jagriti Bhalai Kendra (Northern Eastern India). The 2021 proposal, also proposed but not funded in 2022, are attached [[attachment:COP_2022_slides.pdf|here]].

Alternatively, we could appoint a 2023 Congregation Outreach Project selection committee at this meeting and ask them to seek submissions and recommend projects to the July meeting of the Congregation.
