4. Report of election of members of Church Council

It was not possible to hold an election for members of the 2021 Church Council in late 2020 because of Covid-19 restrictions. Consequently, an election was held on March 28 2021 and AlisonClarkson, VidaFoo, GlynHowells, SusanKaroly, WendyPepper were elected as Church Councillors with strong support from the congregation.

8.1. Planning for the election of Church Councillors

Congregation meeting chair.

It is proposed to conduct an election for church councillors in October. This year there are some current Church Councillors whose terms are expiring. While some may renominate, there will be other vacancies to fill. For details see Church Council Elections 2021 and ChurchCouncilConstitution

As has been the practice in the recent past, it is proposed to allow voting following each worship activity on the designated election Sunday.
