The Hub

A welcoming and friendly place for people of all ages.

The purpose of The Hub is to connect with people in the wider community who come in to the church, and also people in our congregation, by being welcoming, offering hospitality and growing relationships with these people.

The Hub is open every Tuesday from 10am – 12pm, during school terms.

The Hub Roster is available online.

The Hub started in July 2009, with its genesis in the program “On the Way Together”.

The Hub is a place where you can have time out from your busy lives to have a chat and a cup of tea or coffee, and meet new and old friends.

There are around 27 Hub volunteers. Some are on a roster spending their Tuesday morning at The Hub, offering hospitality, and talking with and listening to the people who come. Others are helping with our Special Morning Teas. You can see the list of workers at The Hub in TheHubGroup.

There is usually one of the Ministers around so it’s a time to get to know them on a casual level.
