The Hub started in July 2009, with its genesis in the program “On the Way Together”.

The purpose of The Hub is to connect with people in the wider community who come in to the church, and also people in our congregation, by being welcoming, offering hospitality and growing relationships with these people.

The Hub is open every Tuesday & Thursday from 10.00 am – 2.00 pm, and Wednesdays from 10.00am - 12noon, during school terms. The Hub Roster is available online.

The Hub is a place where you can have time out from your busy lives to have a chat and a cup of tea or coffee, and meet new and old friends.

There are around 50 volunteers who give up their morning or afternoon and take the time for those who would like a bit of company.

There is usually one of the Ministers around so it’s a time to get to know them on a casual level.

If you know of anyone who would like to practice their English, the team of the Hub is more than happy to help them with their English by having informal conversations with them.

If you have not been to the Hub, and you are free on a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday call in and say ‘hi’ - the team would love to make you a cuppa and have a chat.
