• The June 2024 edition of Newsbeat, our Presbytery magazine is now available. This issue is jam-packed with lots of fantastic interviews following our Ministry Milestones service, a special interview with Rev BillMorgan for his 80th anniversary of Ordination, and a chat with Alison Campbell Rate about modern challenges facing music ministry.

GWUC Headlines for week ending June 8

• An introductory online Unit for anyone who wants to know more about the New Testament is available in July. For further information click the link here.

• ChurchCouncil met this week, and Provisional Minutes are available. Decisions include:

  • To continue with 10am worship during July and August while a task group of IanFerguson, VidaFoo, AlisonClarkson and LorraineChee review service times,consulting with the congregation and bringing a recommendation to the August CC meeting as to whether to return to 9:15 and 11:00 am services or continue with a single 10:00 am service.

  • To move meetings to the second Thuursday of each month, to enable more timely presentation of "End of month" financial and staffing information.
