Apologies were from MargSnare, DavidMorgan, SueMorgan, JacquiKing, ColinKing, ValDrescher. == Suggested Walks == The following walks were considered: * Tasmania with individual day walks * New Zealand South Island – Abel Tasman * New Zealand North Island – Coromandel Peninsula with option of walks around Rotorua * Cape to Cape Margaret River Western Australia * Kosciusko National Park After discussing the various options it was agreed that the 2016 walk would be the New Zealand North Island Coromandel Peninsula. The option of a couple of days walking around Rotorua will be further considered. It was agreed that it would not be possible to arrange the trip in the short timeframe for early in the New Year. The timing for the walk will be in October just after the Church Fete. This timeframe suited all in attendance. == Actions Arising == The following are the actions from the meeting: * BillMcIntosh – Research accommodation options for the Coromandel Peninsula * BillMcIntosh / DavidFraser – Look at the walk options for consideration * JohnHurst – Look at the option of combining a train trip with one of the walks == Next Meeting == The next meeting will be on Monday 11 Jan 2016, 43 Wilson Road at 7.30pm |
