Introduction

Church Council and Ministerial team regularly consider the number, style and timing of worship services. The recent congregational meeting asked Council to again canvas the congregation on the question of reducing the number of services, with a particular focus on combining the 9:15am and 11am services, and this questionnaire is the response. The first question addresses this directly. However it is futile to address the question of whether to combine without addressing the questions on what the combination would look like. The subsequent questions are repeated from a 2015 survey, and seek information on what you value about each service, and how flexible you are, and enable us to gauge the changes in sentiment since 2015.

+2	Highly positive. Not combining will discourage my participation.
+1	Positive. I would prefer that we combine.

The crucial part of proposing an amalgamation of services is determining what changes we might be willing to make.
For this purpose we have defined a 7 point scale to evaluate the features of worship services listed below.

+3	Essential. I will not come to a service that omits this.
+2	Highly positive. Omitting this will discourage my participation.
+1	Positive. I would prefer that this be included.
0	Neutral. Having or omitting this feature will not affect my participation.
-1	Negative. I would prefer that this be omitted.
-2	Highly negative. Including this will discourage my participation.
-3	Deal Breaker. I will not come to a service that includes this.
