PREAMBLE AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL PLAYGROUP VOLUNTEERS
- All volunteers will agree to continue in their roles as long as necessary and they feel willing and able to do so.
- All volunteers will endeavour to support the vision and mission statement of the GWUC Playgroups.
- All will be familiar with and supportive of the GWUC vision, particularly its Outreach mission and Safe Church policies. All will have current Working with Children Checks.
- They will be happy to discuss the basic principles of their Christian faith as a motivation for volunteering as a GWUC Playgroup leader and to discuss worship opportunities at GWUC if the question arises, but will not seek to “proselytise” or “convert” playgroup members of other faiths. All religious traditions will be respected at playgroup.
- They will endeavour to work collaboratively with other members of the team.
