For over 4 years now MargaretFraser has been in charge of the GWUC Activities Group known as - "Leisure Time." This group has been running for 35 years, reaching out to the isolated senior men and women in the community. Morning tea, a 2 - course lunch and activities, including outings are provided, giving guests the opportunity to get out and also build friendships. There are 25 guests currently on the list, with the group aiming for about 20 on any given day. There are 64 Church volunteers who are involved in anything from providing transport to kitchen hands, usually on a monthly roster.<

With the responsibility of organizing the events, drivers and participant care, the Activities Group has built up quite a reputation and it's success is closely monitored by many members of the Glen Waverley community.

* AndrewHosking and other Missional Group Co-ordinators have had discussion with MargaretFraser. (Andrew has transcript of his talk with Margaret.)<

* Margaret spoke of the steering committee being faced with many diverse, and often opposite, views from members of our congregation. Talks have highlighted a need for GWUC to improve the way we talk to each other about personal faith.<
