Gomer coffee group are meeting Monday morning at the church. UCAF met and included morning tea. Leisure Time has had a first meeting. Monday night is badminton. Wednesday night Free Spirit. And Friday we have had Youthies and Youth Group meeting in person as well as Q study group. Much more will come back after Easter. More people are slowly coming back to face-to-face worship. I was in the church on Tuesday morning when Joanne was isolating. One person came in looking for “The Hub”. Three people came in asking about English conversation class. This is a hopeful sign for next Term. The ministry team are working with the resource “Full to the Brim” for Lent and Easter. It is from the USA, the same creative team who developed the Christmas resource we used. Many contributors have a Presbyterian background and their theology and creative work resonates well with the ministry team. It is also very reasonably priced for what we get. The Ash Wednesday service drew on this material and was well received. We are trying a lent study both in person and on the live stream. All part of the desire to grow our digital ministry footprint I conducted the funeral service for Margaret Harmer. I have received preliminary enquiries for three baptisms. I continue to chair the Presbytery Ministry Formation Team and the Synod Pastoral Assistance Committee. I have completed the updated Child Safe Training. Supervision sessions continue regularly. The ministry team will plan the anniversary service to be held on 26 June. Would church council like there to be lunch following this 10 am service? Neil === Di’s Report === As we continue to emerge, I have been able to visit a few people but hospitals are still off the list, but nursing homes after a RAT test seem to be ok. I have been able to continue to ring people and share in how they are travelling. I continue to walk most Mondays with the girls at Jells Park and generally get to catch up with the Gomers at the Church. I was almost able to attend the Inclusive Community meeting but I needed to help by taking someone to Knox hospital to visit a loved one. I have done a couple of walks with a Saturday walk group as well. I attended the UCAF meeting and it was good to catch up with a number of people. I was involved in an Ash Wednesday service at Black Rock and also at Glen Waverley. I attended World Day of Prayer at High Street Road an excellent service. I also attended the World Day of Prayer Service at Beaumaris Uniting Church. I attended a Lay Women in Ministry ZOOM meeting. It was good to be able to share with Neil in a Sunday afternoon service, aimed at those who may have trouble getting to Church in the mornings. At the moment I am also supporting Sandringham UC as they are without a minister. This can happen because Cheltenham/Mentone are sharing our services at Black Rock so Greg leads worship if I am not there. I led their service on the 6th March and will preside at a funeral for one their members on 23rd March and will lead worship on 3rd April. I will take the leave I didn’t take in January, from the 6th – 11th April for the Guide State Camp. I have had Supervision. DiPaterson Pastoral Care Decision required:<
> Should there be lunch on 26 June following the anniversary service.
