For this period #15 bought about 10% more electricity than it sold.
In round terms, gas energy was 80% of the total and contributed 60% of the emissions. This last figure will rise as the grid decarbonises.

The financial cost of the 46GJ of gas to the minister at about $30/GJ is about $1400/year. Replacing this with heat pumps would require about 13,000kWh divided by the performance coeffient, say 4, giving 3000kWh at 30c/kWh = $900. This assumes 100% efficiency of the gas heating. Sustainability Victoria suggest somewhat greater savings.
