OUT- letter to Heathmont requesting a transfer for Mary and Jim Ebsworthy. === REPORTS === ==== Prayer Chain (Prayer Support) ==== Nothing to report. ==== Supportive Care Link ==== Nothing to report. ==== Cradle roll report ==== Jan read the report that SueMair had sent. There are 14 children on the Cradle Roll. In 2016, there were 2 baptisms (1 adult) and 21 cards were sent out. ==== Baptisms ==== !CharlottePope will be baptised and confirmed on 12 Feb. We will provide cake for morning tea. On 26 Feb. LorraineBartlett and WarrenBartlett’s great grandchild will be baptised. ==== Other ==== Confirmation of dates for Pastoral Workshop ( and topic), lunches for two congregational meetings, star weaving at the Hub. Dates for Pastoral Workshop and Star Weaving at Hub still need to be confirmed. John Snare wants lunches after congregational meetings (We will have make your own rolls in March and July but soup as well in July.) If date for Pastoral Workshop suits Tom (30 April) invitations will be sent out, it will be advertised in the Bulletin, 1.30pm-BYO lunch. ==== Roll Maintenance ==== Transfer request as noted above. ElwynPederson suggested that Jan ask JoanFoulcher and Trevor Foulcher about transferring their membership. ==== Card and Correspondence ministry ==== Jan sent a card, on behalf of the church, to Margaret Valentine. === GENERAL BUSINESS === * Medical records- All medical records that have been received have been placed in the safe and records have been updated. Jan is preparing another list. * High Tea-next High Tea for Newcomers to be held on 26 March. Replies needed by 19 March. * Packs for Newcomers. Jan has contacted JohnSnare and AaronBlakemore to see what is going on with cover of Newcomers’ booklets. * Announcements re deaths. We asked if it is possible for these to be announced at all services. * Sofas for those who take ill at church-one in room 4 to be put into sacred space and one in Sacred space to be put in room 4. Jan will contact Property. * Repayment to Jan for MWAB functions-we will make out a small invoice for the office when this is necessary. * Money collected from star making workshop-what will we do with it? We will put it in our Inclusive Community account. * We discussed lunch for the Church Anniversary. Faye will do an estimate of costs-probably charge $10 for adults and $5 for children sausage and salad. * Alison’s retirement service- We discussed present and arrangements. * Faye and Jan will organise a small display of stars on 7 and 14 May. * Jan will prepare a paragraph saying about the history of “One Million stars to end violence”. === NEXT MEETING === Tuesday 21 Mar 2017 at 10am in room 1.
