(Note: Minutes are intended to be a more detailed record of the meeting, while reports are usually summaries of the key points of discussion. In recent times, the distinction has been blurred, since agendas have not been published, and meetings have been more informal with less structure. The future records are left to the discretion of elders, rather than wiki editors.)

Duty Roster

One of the tasks for the vestry Elder is to deliver the Prayers for Others (aka Prayers of the People) each service. Details of this are on the separate page EldersPrayersOfThePeople.

Who is an Elder?

There are two lists used here. Note that the Uniting Church also suggests that the term Leader may be used instead of Elder. See Regulation 3.1.10

  1. The EldersGroup page defines an elder as used by the wiki page. If you are an elder, and cannot access the elders pages, then this list needs to be fixed.

  2. The EldersContactList page gives the contact details (email, address, telephone) of each elder.

Note that these pages are protected, so that only elders can alter them. The first page can be read by users who are logged in (basically any church member), while the second page cannot be read by anyone other than an elder. This is done for privacy reasons.
