Direct Debit Givers via Synod (uEthical)
To those GWUC members who currently give via uEthical Direct Debit.
uEthical is terminating their Direct Debit system from the end of July 2021. In order to continue your giving via direct debit from August onward it will be necessary for you to set up a recurrent payment through your own On-Line Banking to the GWUC bank account, or contact your bank and ask them to arrange such payments from your account. These payments will appear in GWUC’s monthly bank statement. To assist the office in identifying what these payments are, we ask that you include a reference number as the description with your deposit.
In the next week or so, you will receive a letter or e-mail containing your individual reference number which will enable your giving to be recorded and acknowledged via regular letters.
If you would prefer your giving to remain anonymous please use the reference number DD999.
The details for GWUC’s Westpac bank account are:
Account Name: Uniting Church Glen Waverley
BSB: 033 052 - Account Number: 92 2198
To those GWUC members who currently give via Direct Debit to GWUC’s bank account.
You will receive a letter or e-mail containing your personal reference number in the next week which will enable your giving to be recorded and acknowledged via regular letters. This will align the way your giving appears in the church’s bank statement with the givers coming across from the uEthical system.
Envelope givers
The envelope system will remain in place for those who wish to continue their giving that way. If you would like to use direct debit giving instead, please contact KenHutchinson.
If you have any questions please contact the Recorder, KenHutchinson, Giving Recording Committee.
Report Jan 2022
There were 23 on Direct Giving who hadn’t converted across to Westpac from U Ethical. Of the 23 people, Neil advised of 11 or 12 who had had change of circumstances and were not to be contacted. IanMcMillan has spoken to the balance, with 3 converting across to envelopes, 3 thinking about it but no commitment, 3 renewed with Westpac and as of last week two hadn’t returned his call and may be away.
