Council Correspondence 202302 Change Room

  • Glen Waverley Traders Association requested the use of a room. 

    • Hi David,
As part of our Glen Waverley Carnivale Event we require a room for our performers to change each Friday and Saturday evening in March before and after performing.  They need access to a room from 4.30pm - 9.15pm.  Our association will have a staff member for security present at the room for the duration of Glen Waverley Carnivale for security.
I was wondering if your church would have such a room and if you would allow us to use it for this purpose.  Glen Waverley Traders Association would pay a donation of $300 each evening (9 nights) so $2700 for the use of a room for the 9 Friday and Saturday nights in March.
Could you let me know if your church would be willing and able to assist us?

  • Obvious conflict was with Uthies on Friday evenings, but LynneBoyer advised that this would not be a problem.

  • WarrenGreenwood advised that Property committee saw no problems.
