However, we do have reservations about doing so, given the Covid position with the likelihood of increased numbers over the winter, and the expected crowd at such an event. We intend to make initial plans and bookings for the event, but would like to review the situation in August before definitely proceeding. The ageing church population also means that involvement by younger and fitter church members would be highly desirable if we were to have a Fete on the same scale as previous years.
