Kristin Devos will be the new chairperson and the secretarial duties will be shared. It will be quite a small committee but the cluster Manager Nina Levin seemed quite happy about it. 2) Many positive comments about the shade sail. As well as giving more shade outside, it makes room 3 cooler. The committee will work at fundraising next year to pay back our loan to church council. 3) Enrolments are building up for next year. As there weren't enough volunteers to cover every session, the program has used volunteers from Monash volunteer Resource centre. As on a previous occasion, I understand that this leave from the Ministry to Seniors will be without pay. The ministry team is aware of my plans and will recommend appropriate arrangements during my leave, closer to the time, depending on circumstances. I feel that the Ministry to Seniors is an important ministry within the congregation, and a valuable outreach to the wider community. Working with the older members is very fulfilling, and I would hope to continue the work into the future. Yours in Fellowship, Alison Dingwall. === Attachment 3 Baptism request === We have a request for Baptism of Thomas James Manning, son of Glenys (nee Norquay) and Paul Manning. Glenys and Paul are living in the UK and attending church there, but would like to baptise Thomas here while they are visiting for Christmas. They have requested the 9am service December 21. The ministry team supported the request, and Council Executive approved it in view of the short time.
