| === Safe Church === '''Congregation commitment''' In December 2016 the congregation meeting (CongMeetingMinutes20161213) approved the proposal that: That the Congregation reject the Church Council’s proposed Code of Conduct for Members, and ask the Church Council to lead a process to develop a new way of describing how we aspire to treat each other. That Code of Conduct, adopted by Council but rejected by the congregation, forms the basis of our current Safe Church posters. Inspired by looking at church statements in the UK, we have come up with this proposed new poster. |
