Mount View Hub Report for Church Council – April 2024
The Mount View Hub started off this year with a get together in a park. There were 12 children from Mount View Primary School and 4 teachers, plus 6 Special Friends from The Hub. The theme was Easter. We had an egg and spoon race, rolled eggs down the slope, a craft activity making a little basket to put eggs in collected from an Easter egg hunt, a story and afternoon tea together. Some of the children we knew from last year, and others were new to us. The children enjoyed the time together and some were quite chatty.
Some of The Hub volunteers will be helping at the Mount View P.S. Cross Country Run at the Wurundjeri Walk in Blackburn South on Thursday 18th April. We will be helping at check points and cheering on the children, especially those we know who come to Mount View Hub.
In term 2, the Mount View children and teachers will be coming to the church for our next Mount View Hub. No date has been set for this yet.
