Communications Committee Report – Wednesday 12 May 2010

The Communications Committee met on Tuesday 11 May 2010.

  1. Review of a draft Communications Strategic plan is being used as both a planning tool and a structured way to identify areas where immediate improvements can be made.
  2. This meeting focussed on printed communication.
  3. Options to slim down the weekly bulletin were discussed. A trial will commence in June of having rosters on a monthly insert rather than on a weekly basis. Editorial approaches to weight loss will also be pursued.
  4. The Communications Strategic plan has been updated and is available on the Wiki for downloading.
