1. Spiritual sharing

2. Community of love.

We discussed:

• Congregation members’ worries about slow-moving decisions
• Worries about the JNC
• People who don’t feel heard or feel ignored – we suggested having a lunch/sharing time with members of the Steering Committee and the JNC
• Brace discussed having a sharing night about specific topics of concern
• Church Council – members should show respect when people are talking. Suggestion to have members refrain from using technology during the meeting

3. New Structure document

• Age specific ministries should include adult ministry
• Children and families – church visioning group
• Margaret showed a draft placement of all of the church groups in specific Mission groups
• We should make it clear that groups should look to their Mission groups for support

4. Sharing time with Steering Committee and JNC

• Between services 10am-12.30 June 2, Room1. “We’re listening: Listening time with the Steering Committee and JNC for all to share ideas and feedback. Tell us your vision”

5. Educational evening – Thurs 13 June

• Assertion/aggression – bullying. Techniques for diffusing situations
• Spirituality – listening to the scripture
• Changing the culture
• Community of love/sexual harassment. Members of the church should be proactive if they see any examples of this around them in the church
• Alanee, Heather Hon and Warren Bartlett might be good people to be involved in this
