Glen Waverley Uniting Choir Choir
Ineke Memories Page
- Ineke always came in to the Choir pre-service rehearsal to offer a prayer
- Ineke's enthusiasm for the Choir
- wanting us to sing at all the services which she led
- sorry we did not do this as often as you would have liked, Ineke!
- popping in to choir practices on Thursday evenings, sometimes to chat, sometimes to just listen
- Ineke's encouragements to the Choir
- Helping us to dare to try new things (e.g., sung psalms)
- Support when in need on a one to one basis.
- Always ready to visit private homes when a need was there.
- Ineke, We have been very blessed to have you with us, so involved with everything and with the Choir especially. It was a great pleasure for me to be seated with you at the 'International Banquet' - it was such a fun night, wasn't it? Will treasure all the little things you have done or said. All the best in your retirement (really?) Ineke and best wishes to you and Tom. We hope we will continue to be in touch.
- I have valued Ineke's wonderful ability to connect with people in such a meaningful way. I remember her children's address with the three tin cans showing that we couldn't tell what was inside from the label, but that it is important that we do show the love of God which is inside us to the outside world and not keep it hidden!
