= Children’s and Families Support Team Report to Church Council =
 
The Children’s and Families Support team met on Thursday 9 Jun.
 
The main focus of the meeting was to follow up, discuss and strategize Children and Families ministry within GWUC and the wider community.
 
Working from Debbie’s report and recommendations, we have appointed a task group, to build a framework for a Children’s and Families Dreaming Day.
 * The Dreaming day is planned for Sunday 17 Jul.
 * The purpose is to invite all those interested in Children’s and Families Ministry to dream and plan the why, how, when and what, of Children’s and Families Ministry. 

The Children and Families support group would '''ask Church Council to:'''
 1. Begin exploring the possibility of at least a two day a week position for a Children’s and Families Coordinator. ''(As was suggested in Debbie’s Children and Families report and recommended by Synod Children and Families Worker Chris Barnett)'' and 
 1. continue to see children’s and families as an area for growth, being aware of children and families in many aspects of our inclusive church community.
